Ordering Online

How do I place an order?

Ordering flowers online with Pepperberry is easy - simply select a product, choose a size, colour palette, fill in the required details & leave the rest to us! Browse our range.

Will my flowers look exactly like the picture?

We are not your average cookie cutter flower shop! With flower varieties changing weekly, we love to celebrate all of Mother Nature's seasonal goodies.

Rather than replicate product photos, we design to the colour palette you select. Our fresh flower colour palette options include:

'Florist's Choice' - Perfect for when you can't decide - leave it in our very capable hands!

'Pastels' - Delicate & soft with pretty shades of pastels.

'Berry" - Scrummy berry colours; pinks, reds & purples. Our very favourite to create!

White & Green - Modern & subtle with classic white, creams & greens.

'Colourful' - Bold & playful with various shades & colours.

We guarantee your flowers will be fresh, thoughtfully created & simply GORGEOUS!

Unlike our fresh flower products, all dried flower arrangements for sale are unique creations that are updated regularly - in other words, what you see is what you get!

Shipping & Delivery

How much does delivery cost?

Your order will be sent using one of our professional couriers who specialise safe & efficient flower delivery. We have three main 'Delivery Zones' covering the wider Christchurch area.

Christchurch City & Suburbs - $15

Outer Christchurch & Fringe Townships - $20

Rural / Long Haul / RD2- RD5 - $28

You can check your Delivery Zone here. Please be sure to select the correct option at checkout.

How far in advance do I have to order?

We deliver flowers & gifts Monday to Friday. Please order by 3pm the day before you'd like the flowers delivered. Eg, by 3pm Sunday for a Monday delivery, 3pm Thursday for Friday delivery.

For flower emergencies or questions, contact us - we are happy to help!

What time will my order be delivered?

Unless otherwise requested, we will send your flower order out on the 8am courier to be delivered early in the day. Although we try our very best, we cannot guarantee specific delivery times.

For orders to places of work, please do let us know your intended recipients work hours.

How do I know if my order has been received?

On successful order placement you will receive an email notification with an order number. If this hasn't come through within a couple of minutes (& not in your junk folder) please contact us.

Can I send flowers to a hospital?

We will try our best, but some hospitals are tricky...

St Georges & Southern Cross Hospitals accept all flower deliveries, whereas Christchurch Hospital & Burwood Hospital have numerous wards & rooms that do not accept any deliveries.

Please note that NO Maternity or Primary Birthing Units (Lincoln, Rangiora, Christchurch Women's Hospital) accept flower deliveries.

We ask that you first phone the hospital to determine which ward the recipient will be in, then check the list here: https://www.cdhb.health.nz/patients-visitors/visitors-family/

For hospital deliveries we recommend sending a Posy Box, Posy Jar or Vase Bouquet.

General

How do I keep my flowers fresh?

If your delivery is a wrapped bouquet, remove and discard all packaging & then place the flowers in a clean vase filled with plenty of fresh, cold water.

Posy Jars, Luxe Arrangements, Vase Bouquets & Posy Boxes are already in water, therefore simply replace with fresh water every couple of days.

In summary: all flowers love clean & cold water!

Also be sure to keep your flowers out of direct sunlight & away from heat pumps & fireplaces.

With a little love & care your flowers will last 5-10 days!

Do you do wedding flowers?

We are humbled and proud to have supplied numerous beautiful couples with stunning wedding flowers & floral instalments over the years, however, as of Spring 2022 we made the decision to focus solely on our true love; daily flower deliveries.

Canterbury is fortunate to have a plethora of amazing wedding florists; we are happy to make recommendations & wish you the very best for your special day.
